Crossbreed Aviation Training Institute (CATI) is a subsidiary of Crossbreed Holding Company Ltd. Out of passion for the advancement of the aviation industry, Crossbreed Holding has teamed up with TWIGA AERO LTD, an aviation consulting and training firm established in 2013, and The Gambia Civil Aviation Authority, to create the synergy for delivering world class aviation training courses in The Gambia and for the region. 

The mission of the Training Centre is to develop effective training policy and deliver educational content to continuously improve safety in the aviation industry. Courses will be developed in close consultation and cooperation with GCAA and relevant partners.

In the long run, the institution will be transformed to an aviation academy which will provide aviation specialized trainings in areas such as airline pilots, aircraft maintenance engineering, flight dispatching and aviation/airline management programs

Our main business goal is to become a leading provider of relevant, affordable, accessible and world class aviation training courses. Instructors will be selected from a pool of IATA or industry certified trainers in and outside The Gambia.
